Melissa Ifill, also known as Iya Oñi Soi, is a trusted retreat leader and coach who’s spent the last four years helping wellness practitioners create retreats that move people and spark growth. Whether hosting her own retreats or guiding others to design theirs, Melissa knows how to deliver experiences that shift perspectives and create lasting impact.

A licensed therapist and Lucumi priestess of Oshun, Melissa blends ancient rituals with modern clinical expertise to help clients experience emotional breakthroughs and reconnect with themselves. Her approach weaves together sound healing, breathwork, meditation, and trauma-informed practices—ensuring every retreat is an experience that sticks.

With over 20 years in social services and advanced training in EMDR, Trauma-Conscious Yoga, and Reiki, Melissa’s work doesn’t just sound good—it gets results. Through her private practice and group coaching, she’s built spaces where Black women across the U.S. and internationally can heal, grow, and step fully into their power.
